Event Set-up Assistant
• Assist in preparing galleries for installations which can include repairing and painting gallery walls, adjusting lighting or cleaning.
Skills Needed:
• No specific fine art credentials are required • Abilities in the artistic or technical side of a gallery is desirable • Must be physically able to lift and move moderately heavy or large items • Physically able to mount ladders, paint walls and perform light cleaning. • Must be punctual, reliable, flexible and friendly • Must successfully complete volunteer orientation • Must agree to a criminal background check
