Arts Education Assistant
- Assist the primary arts instructor with the planning and implementation of art classes. This will include set-up and clean-up. As well as basic behavioral management.
- Assist with event planning & execution.
- Assist with upkeep of the Eva G Farris Education Center & Ronal McDonald Costume Center.
- Assist with the Children’s Gallery Shows, including planning, implementing and set-up/clean-up.
- Specific programs that you can be involved in include: Scripps Howard Foundation ArtStop (Sep-May); Summer ArtStop (Jun-Aug); Carnegie Family Saturdays (Sep-Jun); Adult Art Classes.


Skills Needed:
- No specific formal arts education credentials are required, although artistic skills and abilities are highly desirable - Prior experience in the principles of teaching children or adults by understanding how they learn is required. - Must be punctual, reliable, flexible and friendly. - Must successfully complete volunteer orientation. - Must agree to a criminal background check
